October 17-21 Homework

**Students do not have a journal topic this weekend or social studies worksheet. They will NOT be responsible for these 2 assignments.

Monday, October 17
1. Spelling- write sentences for FIRST 10 spelling words
2. Grammar- worksheet
3. Reading- read AND record at least 20 minutes in reading log; pick a book character and bring their book
4. Math- worksheet
5. Science- study for test on Wednesday
* Please check with your child/ their planner for any Turkish/Arabic homework.
* Any homework not completed AT HOME will be done during recess/gym tomorrow and will receive a check minus.

Tuesday, October 18
1. Spelling- write sentences for LAST 10 spelling words 
2. Vocabulary- worksheet on metaphors
3. Reading- read AND record 20 minutes in reading log
4. Math- my homework page
5. Science- study for test tomorrow

* Any homework not completed AT HOME will be done during recess and will receive a check minus.

Wednesday, October 19
1. Vocabulary- metaphor worksheet
2. Reading- cause and effect worksheet
3. Math- my homework page

Thursday, October 20
1. Vocabulary- study vocab .words for test tomorrow
2. Spelling- 3 times each, test tomorrow
3. Grammar- worksheet, test tomorrow
4. Social Studies- worksheet

Friday, October 21
1. Reading- read AND record 20 minutes. Work on character day costumes and dioramas.
2. Math- worksheet
3. Empty out homework folders of ALL graded papers. Only new homework and SIGNED tests should be in homework folders. 
* Please check with your child/their planner for any Quran homework.

* The teacher holds the right to change homework assignments. Students will be told in advanced if any changes will be made.
