Bookopolis

3rd grade will be using Bookopolis to manage reading done throughout the rest of the school year.

Please complete the following by Monday, February 6th.

1. Sign into https://bookopolis.com/#/ as a STUDENT with the username and password you were given by me.
2. Update your profile (avatar, gender, birthday, and what genres you prefer reading). Make sure you save your profile.
3. Start adding books to your I want to read it (green) and reading it now (orange) shelves. In the I READ IT (blue) shelf only add books you read this school year while in 3rd grade.

You can view our classroom library by clicking here. This shelf will updated frequently so check back soon :)

Friday, February 3

1. Writing- 2 paragraphs on journal topic

2. Reading- read 20 minutes

* Empty out homework folders of ALL graded papers. Only new homework and SIGNED tests should be in homework folders. 

* Please check with your child/their planner for any Quran/ Computer homework.

* The teacher holds the right to change homework assignments. Students will be told in advanced if any changes will be made.

January 30- February 3 Tests

Thursday, February 2
Unit 3 Week 4 comprehension test

Friday, February 3
1. Spelling/ Vocabulary Test
Students should study using their Spelling/Vocabulary "cheat sheet" or notebook.

2. Grammar Test
Students should look over all graded grammar worksheets on past and future tense verbs. Students should be familiar with all the rules that are listed in the textbox on top of their grammar worksheets.

3. Math chapter 6 test
Students should know how to multiply and divide by 2s, 5s, and 10s.

*The teacher holds the right to change test dates. Students will be told in advanced if any changes will be made.
*If students are absent on a test day, they should be ready to take the test the day they come back to school.

Students will review in class this week. They should study all the vocabulary words in the chapter. Students should also review questions from the worksheets in the science packet for each lesson, chapter review, and benchmark.
